USC Basketball: Reporter Ranks 2 Trojan Guards Among Top 12 Freshman To Watch
It's pretty clear that the majority of the basketball community are well-aware what Isaiah Collier and Bronny James will bring to the USC Trojans. We have been receiving positive updates on James, including a close friend assuring that his future will not be impacted, so we hope to see him make a healthy return to the court as soon as possible.
The 6'4 guard is one of the most selfless stars entering the college level and much like his father LeBron James, he developed a natural feel for perimeter defense and chasedown blocks on fast breaks. He gets majority of his points via transition as well along with spot-up three's and his skillset is tailor-made to fit on most teams.
Collier, on the other hand, thrives most when he has the ball in his hands and is able to lead the offense. The one area of improvement most NBA scouts will be paying attention is his shooting but as long as he is not hesitant in first year with the Trojans and hits the three-ball at an average rate, he won't have much to worry about.
Therefore, it should be no surprise that ESPN's Dick Vitale listed both James and Collier among his 'Dazzling Dozen Diaper Dandies.'
"This might be one of the deeper classes of impactful freshmen I've seen in a long time, and I'm so excited to watch them develop into PTPers. All 12 are projected starters, and eight are considered NBA lottery picks -- which could make the 2024 draft one of the youngest on record. It was frightful to see
Bronny James
get sidelined, but I'm keeping him on this list, in the hope that we get to see his talent displayed at some point this year. Get well, young man."

I do agree that there are many talented, incoming freshmen this year across the nation and many of them went to schools where they will be able to showcase winning habits immediately.
But James and Collier will definitely catch the attention of the basketball world night in and night out, let's hope for the best!
