USC Basketball: Starters Announced For Trojans, UCLA Ahead Of Clash
The starting fives have been revealed for your 8-11 USC Trojans' matchup tonight against the 8-11 UCLA Bruins, which tips off right now at the Galen Center.
Per UCLA's Twitter/X account, the Bruins will start sophomore Dylan Andrews and freshman Sebastian Mack in the backcourt, junior transfer wing Lazar Stefanovic at small forward, freshman forward Brandon Williams at the four spot, and Adem Bona at center.
Starting freshman power forward Berke Buyuktuncel is considered day-to-day with a left hand injury, though he's been ruled out for tonight, per John W. Davis of The Long Beach Star-Telegram. This will be Williams' first-ever start.
UCLA's Twitter/X account reports that the Trojans will start a returning Boogie Ellis at point guard, while shifting junior wing Kobe Johnson from starting small forward to starting shooting guard. He'll then start DJ Rodman, a redshirt senior transfer out of Washington State University (and a Newport native), at the three spot; another fifth-year senior, Joshua Morgan, at the four, and Vincent Iwuchukwu will man the middle at center.
