USC Basketball: Timeline Established For Top PG Prospect To Make College Choice
As your USC Trojans men's basketball team is currently enjoying the spoils of signing top recruit of the Class of 2023 in current freshman Isaiah Collier, another top-ranked point guard has announced that he will soon make his decision.
Zoom Diallo of Tacoma, WA is currently considered the No. 9 overall prospect in the Class of 2024 and has finalized his list of potential colleges to four: Washington, Arizona, Gonzaga and USC.
Diallo, who has averaged 20 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds this season, is 6-foot-4 and rated as a 98-overall by 247Sports.
"Diallo is a power guard with good positional size and strength, along wth the early skill-set and feel for the game to match," wrote Adam Finkelstein, director of scouting at 247 Sports. "He has good pick-and-roll instincts and uses his body well both as a handler and a finisher, showing good balance and body control."

Diallo would enter a USC program possibly in need of a skilled guard as Collier, Bronny James and Boogie Ellis will all likely be entering the NBA draft following the 2024 season.
"I'm in final decision-making mode," Diallo said. "I'm starting to narrow it down little by little and getting closer and closer to a decision. That's what's going on."
