A three-game losing streak has soured an otherwise promising start to the 2023-24 season for your USC Trojans men's basketball program. 

Issues closing out games, shooting free throws, and consistently scoring in the half-court have all been issues for the cardinal and gold, leaving them at 11th in the Pac-12. 

A 16-point loss to the Auburn Tigers has left USC with a 5-5 record, meaning a win today against Alabama State is of the utmost necessity, as the Trojans are en route to the toughest part of their schedule, followed by what should be incredibly competitive conference play. 

Luckily, Alabama State makes for a fairly easy opponent, as the Hornets are just 4-5, with 17+ point losses to Memphis, LSU, and Iowa.
