Your 8-12 USC Trojans have now lost five consecutive titles, thanks to their latest loss, a 65-50 shellacking at the hands of the 9-11 visiting UCLA Bruins. Both clubs were missing a freshman starter, but the absence of Isaiah Collier seemed to have a bigger adverse impact on the Trojans' scoring efforts than I at least anticipated.

Per Luca Evans of The Orange County Register, four-star recruit Bronny James sat out USC's Monday practice with an undisclosed illness. The Sierra Canyon School alum eventually sat out tonight's loss.

Trojans head coach Andy Enfield critiqued James' behavior during.

"As I said, we know our players better than you do," Enfield said.
