USC Men's Basketball: Club Excited For Newly-Hired Athletic Director
In order for any sports organization to reach the promised land and churn out multiple successful seasons over a long period of time, they need experienced individuals overseeing their management and day-to-day processes. Beyond just the roster construction, coaching staff and handling of schedules, there are so many other responsibilities that must be taken care of in order to ensure that a team has everything they need to succeed.
At a school like the University of Southern California, they have a number of athletics programs that need to be prioritized and others that have nothing but potential. A sneak peak of full renovations of USC's training facilities has already been shared so the Trojans community is well-aware just how much the school is investing into their sports future.
However, on top of that, the university also recently announced the hiring of a new athletic director in Jennifer Cohen. Cohen most recently served as athletic director at the University of Washington and has also held high positions within a number of other schools.
Cohen has now become the first woman to be named USC's athletic director and she brings a unique set of knowledge and social skills to the table. USC men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield shared his words of support towards Cohen ahead of her first year with the school.
"Our men's basketball team is excited to welcome Jen Cohen to the Trojan family," said Enfield. "Jen has had tremendous success in collegiate athletics and is a proven leader. With Jen's support, we look forward to building upon our program's successes on the court and in the classroom. Fight on!"

It already sounds like the school is ready to see how Cohen fits in and expect nothing but improvements all-around to follow her arrival!
