USC men's basketball vs. Colorado: How to watch
USC will continue its push for an NCAA Tournament berth on Thursday night on the road against Colorado. The 19-8 Trojans sit in third place in the Pac-12 with an 11-5 record. Colorado is 15-13 and 7-10 in the Pac-12, which ties them with Washington for eighth place in the conference.
When USC hosted Colorado earlier this season, the Trojans won 68-61. Drew Peterson scored a team high 15 points.
The Trojans are currently squarely on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament.
ESPN's Joe Lunardi updated his most recent bracket projections on Tuesday and listed USC as one of the last four teams in. CBS Sports analyst Jerry Palm updated his predicted bracket on Monday. He too lists USC as one of the last four teams playing against Mississippi State in a First Four game in Dayton.
After USC beat Cal 97-60 last Thursday, USC head coach Andy Enfield was asked whether he looks at tournament predictions from analysts. He responded:
"It's still very early. We look at [the projections] to an extent. The NET rankings are one metric the selection committee will use. The NET doesn't make much sense to me sometimes because you see some teams that haven't beaten a Power Six team all year and their NET is in the top 20 in the country. How does that happen? I think they'll make the best decision when the season is done. We have a lot of basketball left so we don't get too worried about the bracketologists or the NET right now. Right now, what we're concerned about is improving as a team and controlling what we can control because we have some great opportunities ahead of us."
USC ranks 54th in NET.
