Former USC Trojans volleyball superstar Miki McFadden was in Eugene (where she lives and coaches at Sisters High School) to take in her alma matter's matchup against the Oregon Ducks, a resounding 88-51 annihilation.

And USC has the picture to prove it:

A CBVA Beach Volleyball Hall of Famer, McFadden was still an underclassman at USC (a sophomore, to be precise) when she participated in the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.

"I played in a great era," she said. "We were viewed as the pioneers of this sport. It was also during the black movement and lots of history was being made. It was nice to be a part of that. The Olympics were a very significant event for me: the games gave me confidence and showed me I could do anything and be successful. It was a great feeling of accomplishment. I still feel able to hold my head high and know if I work hard I can accomplish anything in life," she told Nugget News in 2008.

She didn't medal, but emerged as a dominant beach volleyball player in the 1970s after college alongside Kathy Gregory. She won all seven of the tournaments she competed in during the 1978 season. She's been coaching for 40+ years.

Tell Alex, were you in the joint the night Wilt scored 100 points? Or when the Celtics won titles back-to-back and didn't give nobody no kind of slack?
