Following a losing two-game road stint, your USC Trojans women's basketball program is returning home for a two-contest clash against two Washington-based Pac-12 opponents this weekend.

It's hardly going to be a walk in the proverbial park at the Galen Center.

On Friday, the 13-3 Trojans will host the 14-5 Washington State Cougars, while the 12-5 Washington Huskies will visit for a Sunday matinee.

To celebrate the club's return, USC released an intriguing hype video:

Behind the stellar play of superstar freshman wing JuJu Watkins, a 6'2" shooting guard out of Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth and the second-most prolific scorer in the nation (behind only Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark) and junior center Rayah Marshall, a 6'4" big out of Lynwood High School.

Watkins was recently named to the midseason Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Top 10 list, an end-of-year honor reserved for the best shooting guard in the country. Given that Watkins is averaging 26.1 points on .438/.349/.830 shooting splits on an elite program, she seems like she's got a real shot at the honor.

Last year, Marshall was named to the All-Pac-12 Team and the All-Pac-12 Defensive Team, while also wrapping up as a semifinalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award, and she seems likely to notch those honors yet again.
