USC Trojans women's basketball head coach Lindsay Gottlieb is convinced that her team's 2023-24 season turning point has already happened, per Thuc Nhi Nguyen of The Los Angeles Times.

“The lesson is Colorado, who is a projected No. 1 seed and really, really good, and we’re right there. So decide,” Gottlieb said. “Decide if we want to be normal, decide if we want to be ordinary and be ‘almost there’ or decide if we want to take another step. But in this league, you can’t take any steps unless you take care of the next game in front of you, especially when you’re at home.”

USC recovered from two consecutive road losses to the Colorado Buffaloes and Utah Utes by beating the Washington State Cougars at home on Friday.

USC is 14-3 overall, but just 3-3 away from the Galen Center.
