USC Trojans star wing McKenzie Forbes, a grad student who was formerly a two-time All-Ivy Tourney inclusion while with the Harvard Crimson, has been named the Pac-12's Player of the Week, per USC Women's Basketball on Twitter/X. The accolade marks Forbes' inaugural POTW award.

As you can see in the graphic, standout freshman JuJu Watkins was also honored this week by the conference, having been once again named Freshman of the Week. The Sierra Canyon School product has now netted her sixth such honor in seven weeks.

During her two games played for the week in question, Forbes posted averages of 26.5 points (including 36 against Long Beach State in the Women of Troy's 85-77 victory last Thursday) on .385/.333/.810 shooting splits, five rebounds, three assists, and 1.5 steals a night.

Across 10 games this season (all wins, remember?) the six-foot redshirt senior is averaging 12.9 points on a .434/.360/.658 slash line, 3.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and a steal.

Forbes, Watkins, and the rest of their undefeated Trojans will face their toughest test yet this Saturday night, when they square off against their 11-0 Pac-12 crosstown arch rivals, the UCLA Bruins, in front of a sold out Pauley Pavilion crowd.

Tell Alex, were you in the joint the night Wilt scored 100 points? Or when the Celtics won titles back-to-back and didn't give nobody no kind of slack?
