USC Women's Basketball: Reigning Pac-12 Player Of The Week Impressed By Juju Watkins

Juju Watkins gets praise from another elite Trojans player.

The USC Trojans are jam-packed with impact players. Juju Watkins has already secured six Freshman of the Week honors, and she has now been joined by McKenzie Forbes. Forbes was able to secure POTW honors herself.

Forbes spoke about what it means to play with someone like Watkins, who has been named a top 10 player in the NCAAW.

“Even though she’s a freshman, when you see her going hard, when you see her setting that standard, it’s contagious,” Harvard transfer McKenzie Forbes said. “I feel like that’s just a testament to her character. She’s a great person, a great teammate. Everyone loves her.”

Watkins has certainly been able to make her presence known. She continues to play hard each and every minute that she touches the court.

Gaining praise from Forbes, who is a senior, is a testament to Watkins' prowess on the court. The Trojans benefit greatly from having the types of players that gain elevation in their own game by witnessing how hard they all play together.

The Trojans are currently taking on the UCLA Bruins, who are ranked #2 in the nation. Should Watkins help USC pick up a huge victory, they will leap into the top 5 in the nation.
