Every time that our USC women's basketball squad takes the court, we are able to see just how in sync all of the players are. From the ball movement where it feels like everybody gets a touch before a shot attempt goes up to the plausible rotations overseen by their coaching staff that are always based on their opposing team, the Trojans have developed quite the unique playing style and culture.

That is why it was quite the surprise when they fell to the number nine Michigan Spartans in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. However, the past is the past and the Trojans look to bounce back even better in the 2023-2024 season. There are a number of key returners on the roster this year such as Rayah Marshall and Kayla Williams and when you have someone like Juju Watkins coming, this year is bound to be special.

However, USC has made sure to fill out their entire program not just the actual players and it was recently announced via a press release that the women's basketball team hired a new assistant director of operations in Ryan Cohan.

"USC women's basketball has hired Ryan Cohan to serve as assistant athletic director for women's basketball operations on 's staff, bringing significant experience in women's basketball to the Trojan program. Cohan worked with Arizona State's program for 11 years and also has WNBA experience."

Seeing that Cohan has spent time with the Phoenix Mercury and has countless years under his belt with Arizona State, he will bring nothing but experience to USC!
