In this story:

This weekend, your 12-1 USC Trojans women's basketball team is looking to avenge its lone defeat of the 2023-24 NCAA season thus far, a 71-64 loss against the UCLA Bruins. UCLA remains undefeated, at 14-0.

The action is pivoting from a sold-out engagement in UCLA's home arena, Pauley Pavilion, on December 30th, to now a sold-out engagement on USC's home floor, Galen Center, as the Trojans have announced on their official Twitter/X page.

USC is currently ranked as the ninth-best club in the nation, per the latest poll via The Associated Press, while the Bruins have been stuck at No. 2, behind the South Carolina Gamecocks, for weeks. The Trojans were actually ranked higher prior to this previous lone loss against UCLA, at No. 6, but have held steady in ninth ever since.

Obviously the big matchup everyone wants to watch again is the face-off between superstar centers Rayah Marshall, a 6'4", Pac-12 All-Defense junior star for your Trojans, and Lauren Betts, a 6'7" sophomore transfer to UCLA, originally from Stanford.

It's exciting to hear that USC has sold out each and every last one of its 10,258 seats days in advance of the matchup, a testament to the intrigue provided by these two elite squads.
