USC Women's Basketball: Trojans' JuJu Watkins Has Tied Huge Pac-12 Record

JuJu Watkins continues to show her dominance with the Trojans.

There is no denying that JuJu Watkins is one of the most dynamic players in the NCAAW. She was ranked #5 overall in the NCAAW by ESPN, and she is an integral reason why the USC Trojans are 12-1.

Watkins has been making her presence felt on the court all season and her current 26.1 PPG average is #2 in the nation. Though the Trojans lost to the Bruins and remain #9 ranked in the nation, the team is humming due to the efforts of his freshman phenom.

Watkins has been named Freshman of the Week for the 8th time this season, tying a huge Pac-12 record.

There is plenty of the season left to play and Watkins securing her 8th FOTW honor has tied the Pac-12 record. We imagine she will smash this record on her way to having a historic season.

Watkins and the Trojans will look to get their revenge on the UCLA Bruins, as they face off against their cross-town rivals on January 11.

Should the Trojans come home with a win, they could leap higher in the AP rankings. They certainly benefit from having the #2 scorer in the nation on their team.
