USC Women's Basketball: Trojans Obliterate Oregon In 88-51 Road Blowout
Last night, freshman wing JuJu Watkins logged her 10th 30+ point game of the season, scoring 33 points while shooting 12-of-25 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the charity stripe, grabbing eight rebounds, swiping four steals, dishing out three dimes, and block one shot, to lead your USC Trojans to an epic 88-51 obliteration of the Oregon Ducks on the road, improving her club's record on the year to a stellar 19-4 (9-4 in the Pac-12).
The No. 10-ranked Women of Troy kicked off an early 19-0 tear in the contest's first half to quickly assert their dominance, eventually getting off to a 57-21 lead, connecting on 56.8% of their field goal attempts in the frame, a huge edge of Oregon's 27% conversion rate.
USC ultimately wrapped up the game connecting on 47.9% of their field goal attempts. They notched 45 boards, 20 dimes and 10 triples in the bout. The Ducks, meanwhile, finished with 33.3% field goal shooting.
Grad student wing McKenzie Davis chipped in 12 points, grad student forward Kaitlin Davis added a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double, and junior center Rayah Marshall grabbed 12 boards.
