USC Women's Basketball: Trojans Secures Big Feat For First Time Since the 1990s
The USC Trojans have been on a tear this season. While freshman phenom JuJu Watkins continues to dominate in every game, securing awards and breaking records, the entire team has melded together in a special way.
McKenzie Forbes, Kayla Padilla, and Rayah Marshall have also been showcasing their skills en route to the team securing a 20-4 overall record. They are also #2 in the Pac-12 and have a good shot at going far in the NCAA Tournament.
To add to the team's growing accomplishments, they have secured a feat that has not been achieved since the early 1990s.
The Trojans now have back-to-back 20-win seasons, which is the first time this has happened since 1992 and 1993. It has been 30 years since the team has achieved this greatness, and it has everything to do with their leadership as well.
Head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has been inspiring these young women to band together, and they have answered the call tremendously.
Gottlieb might also add to the Trojans' impressive accolades, as she has joined the watchlist for Coach of the Year.
This team has come together every week to deliver a heartfelt and passionate performance, and we fully expect to see them in the thick of a national title when all is said and done.
