Fresh off being named the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's Freshman Of The Year yesterday (per a USC presser), freshman wing JuJu Watkins has now been honored as a WBCA All-American, too.

The 18-year-old out of San Fernando Valley prep basketball powerhouse Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth has already emerged as one of the best players in the nation, with plenty of room left to grow.

She's the highest-scoring freshman in the history of women's college basketball, with 920 points to her credit. In scoring 30 or more points in 14 games this season, she's notched more of those games for any USC basketball freshman in the past 25 years. Her 27.1 points per game ranked second-most in the country this year, behind only Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark.

Watkins has already earned several other major accolades. She's a finalist for the Honda Award, the Wade Trophy and the Wooden Award, and has been named to the Wooden All-American Team and The Associated Press, The Athletic and Sporting News' All-American First Teams.

She was the runner-up for ESPN's Player of the Year award (behind guess who?), while also being named the Worldwide Leader's Freshman of the Year. Watkins also made the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team, after she helped USC capture the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament title. She was also a finalist for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award and the Dawn Staley Award.
