The USC women's basketball team took down the California Golden Bears on Sunday by a score of 79-69. It was an impressive showing for the Trojans on the road, and they have now won four straight games.

After going down early in the first quarter, the Trojans clamped down on the defensive end. They only allowed 13 points in the second quarter and an astonishing eight in the final frame.

USC was able to pull away from Cal in the fourth quarter, sealing the win. They now move to 16-4 on the season and remain one of the best teams in college basketball. 

The Trojans were led by none other than JuJu Watkins, who continued her incredible season. Watkins put up 29 points, five assists and four rebounds in helping the team grab the victory. 

Guard McKenzie Forbes also pitched in, scoring 12 points. She also added in five assists and five rebounds as well. 

Next up for the Trojans is a matchup back at home next Friday, February 9, against the Arizona State Sun Devils that is scheduled for tipoff at 7 pm PT.
