USC Women's Basketball Vs Washington State: Betting Odds, How To Watch, Predictions & More

Will the Trojans end their two-game skid?

USC women's basketball is getting ready for a matchup versus Washington State basketball on Friday. The Trojans are coming off back-to-back losses at the hands of Utah and Colorado, after previously starting the year 14-1.

These losses came after a triumphant win for the Trojans over UCLA, and dropped them out of the AP Top 10

The Trojans are now ranked 11th, and just sixth in the Pac-12 with a 3-3 conference record. Getting this win over Washington State is extra important to keep USC from having a losing conference record. They have to be careful not to overlook Washington State, who are off to a 14-5 start this season.

How to Watch

USC-Washington State will begin at 7 p.m. PT tonight and will be available to watch on the Pac-12 Network. Viewers can also gain access to the game through the Fubo TV app.

Predictions

The Trojans will most likely rely on McKenzie Forbes and Juju Watkins, who have been their leading scorers over the last few games. Watkins has of course been a freshman phenom for the Trojans, ranking second in points per game, while Forbes has been a reliable veteran presence for the Trojans. However, if the Trojans can get a big game from either a Taylor Bigby or Rayah Marshall, it will go a long way to helping this team avoid becoming overly reliant on Watkins.

As for their opponent, the Trojans have to watch out for Washington State's Charlisse Leger-Walker, who is a former All-American that's helped propel the school's basketball program. Outside of Leger-Walker, USC will want to pay attention to Bella Murekatete and Jenna Villa. Murekatete is the school's all-time leader in blocks while the freshman Villa was the first player to win the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award this season, after Juju Watkins won it the first five weeks.

Still, count on the Trojans to end their two game losing-streak with a much-needed home game.

USC 74, Washington State 68

More

As noted above, the good news for the Trojans is they are playing at home, where they are undefeated this year. Both of their losses to Utah and Colorado came on the road, so ideally returning to the Galen Center will help them snatch the win.
