The USC Trojans Women's Basketball team has been on a tear this season, as they are currently 8-0 on the season. Performances from players like star Juju Watkins, Rayah Marshall, and Kayla Williams have led to much success across the board

Juju Watkins has secured five Freshman of the Week honors, as she continues to be one of the most dynamic players in the Pac-12.

The Trojans are making a name for themselves, and being a school that is still supported by Kobe Bryant and his family, they received a surprise in the form of exclusive sneakers. Naturally, the young women were hyped to see their new shoes.

Being able to get some new sneakers is always fun, but it was the fact that these are exclusive to the Trojans. Coach Gottlieb also gave an impassioned speech about Kobe's legacy in supporting women's basketball, and what the sneakers represent as well.

We have to agree with the coach that we are not sneakerheads either, but seeing these new shoes stirred up something within us. USC gets the honor of continuing the legacy of the Bryant family, and we completely understand why the young players were so excited to see these shoes. They really are special.

The hope is that the Trojans team can take in their own Mamba Mentality by using these amazing sneakers to channel their own Kobe Bryant skills on the court.

At 8-0, the Trojans are definitely making Kobe proud.
