What Andy Enfield said following USC men's basketball's 80-74 win over Washington

Tre White scored a career high 22 points for the Trojans

LOS ANGELES — A late 12-2 run helped clinch USC's fourth win in a row 80-74 over Washington from the Galen Center on Saturday night. Kobe Johnson connected on two three-pointers with under four minutes to play put the Trojans ahead 63-60 and 68-62. From there, USC hung on making eight free throws when Washington began to foul in the game's dying moments.

Tre White scored a career high 22 points for the Trojans and Johnson scored a career high 21. Drew Peterson recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He also had eight assists. Boogie Ellis scored 14 points for USC. Keion Brooks Jr. led Washington with 22 points in defeat.

USC was without starting center Josh Morgan and guard Reese Dixon-Waters, who were both absent with injuries.

The victory improved the Trojans to 17-6 and 9-3 in the Pac-12. Washington fell to 13-12 and 5-9 in conference play.

Here’s what USC head coach Andy Enfield had to say following the Trojans' victory.

On Kobe Johnson's performance:

"Kobe played one of the best games I've ever seen a Trojan play with his effort. He had a sprained ankle as well, but he knew he had to play because Reese and Josh were out."

On Josh Morgan and Reese Dixon-Waters' injuries:

"Reese took a bad fall against Washington State. We're hoping with five days off that he'll be able to go when he hit the road next week. There's no timetable on Josh. He has a pretty bad ankle sprain."

On Tre White's maturity and performance:

"When you try to dunk one someone again up seven with 45 seconds left, I'm not sure he's that mature yet. He's a freshman, but I think he is learning and I hope that doesn't happen again. It's happened twice now in the last four games. He's sitting in the back of the room, that's why I'm getting on him. He played a great game tonight. He was very aggressive offensively...I thought this was one of his best games, probably his best game."

On experimenting with lineups with no Morgan and Dixon-Waters:

"We had foul trouble and they really only have one big that they play so both teams had five guards and forwards out there. To me, it looked like an AAU game at times, a pick up game...It was a very unusual game to coach."

On winning 200 games at USC:

"Personal milestones are nice, but we're in this for the program. That just means we've had stability here over the last ten years."
