Former USC guard Kobe Johnson has found a new home, and he won't be traveling too far.

Ben Bolch, UCLA beat writer for the LA Times, shared via X that Johnson will be heading to Westwood and becoming a UCLA Bruin. Johnson himself shared the news via his personal X account.

After three seasons as a Trojan, the Milwaukee native will head across town to continue his collegiate career. In the cardinal red and gold, Johnson averaged 7.4 points per game on 42.3% shooting from the field and 33% from behind the arc, 2.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 91 games.

The 21-year-old entered the transfer portal in late March. He shared via X how much USC meant to him and thanked everyone involved for the person and player he has evolved into. Before choosing UCLA, Johnson was testing the NBA draft. One NBA scout noted that he 'has the intangibles that can help a team win.' That will have to wait until 2025.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound wing player will be missed at USC, and unfortunately, he will join the arch-rivals.
