UCLA Bruins head coach Mick Cronin anticipates that your USC Trojans' best player, fifth-year point guard Boogie Ellis, will return from his three-game absence due to a hamstring ailment.

Per Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times, Cronin explained why he was preparing as if the 6'3" guard, officially a game-time decision as of this writing, could return.

"He’s had ample time to recover, I think, at this point and he’s been a Bruin killer, so the basket gets real big when he sees the four letters playing against him," Cronin opined.

In his five career games against UCLA (during which the club went 2-3), Ellis has logged averages of 16.2 points while connecting on 27-of-56 field goal shooting, four boards, 2.4 dimes and one steal per bout.
