USC Football: HOF Defensive Tackle Doesn't Hold Back On Trojans Great Keyshawn Johnson

Keyshawn Johnson now has beef with Warren Sapp

An unexpected beef started this past week as former USC Trojan Keyshawn Johnson was called out by a former Hall of Fame teammate.

On an appearance on Jason Whitlock's podcast Fearless, legendary defensive tackle Warren Sapp called out Johnson for being a bad teammate.

"He was special, on a whole other level, but as a teammate, I’d never take him again," Sapp reflected

Sapp and Johnson both played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2000-2003.

The comments stemmed from Sapp's recollection of Johnson's reaction to wanting to get rid of his quarterback Shaun King.

Once the clip was posted on social media, it did not take long for Johnson to fire back.

In the three seasons that they were teammates in Tampa, Johnson racked up over 3,600 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Johnson was still having success despite playing with three different quarterbacks during that span.

Sapp on the other hand continued his hall-of-fame resume on the defensive end.

He recorded 35 sacks in those three years including 16.5 in 2000.

Although the two players were great at the same time it seems like there were always locker room issues looming.

It's safe to say that these two NFL greats won't be speaking with each other in their post-retirement lives anytime soon.
