NFL General Manager Attended USC vs Colorado to Watch Caleb Williams, Shedeur Sanders
All eyes are on the USC-Colorado match-up as the Trojans travel to Boulder for their last battle as Pac-12 opponents.
With a newly constructed roster, thanks to the arrival of Head Coach Deion Sanders, an NFL Hall of Famer and electric personality, Colorado has already outperformed expectations with a 3-1 record.
With two uber-talented quarterbacks taking the reigns for each team, scouts from around the NFL will closely be watching the game.
USC's Caleb Williams, who won the Heisman trophy last season as the most outstanding player in college football, is already on a tear this season. His ability to extend plays and arm strength will likely be why he is the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Just over two quarters into the game, Williams has gone 9-for-12 for 155 yards and two touchdowns at the time of this writing.
Shedeur Sanders, son of Deion, is another potential first-round pick in Saturday's game. The athletic QB has thrown 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions so far this season and can also extend plays with his feet.
Because of the wealth of potential NFL talent in Boulder this weekend, Broncos General Manager George Paton was seen on the sidelines before the game kicked off at noon EDT. Paton, whose Denver Broncos were blown out 70-20 last week, will likely be searching for a quarterback in the next few years as Russell Wilson continues to decline as the All-Pro-caliber starter he once was.
The Trojans currently lead 21-7 with just over 12 minutes left in the second quarter.
