Another day, another USC football recruiting development that will make Trojans fans smile.

Six days after On3.com National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman logged a prediction that gave the Trojans a 96% chance to land 2024 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) wide receiver Xavier Jordan, Spiegelman was at it again over the weekend. He made another prediction for USC on Sunday forecasting that the Trojans are the new leader to receive a commitment from four-star (Forney, Texas) cornerback Aaron Flowers. Spiegelman's confidence on the prediction is 60%.

Flowers announced a commitment date of April 7 last week. On March 21, he visited USC. Last weekend, he checked out Alabama.

Here's some of what 247Sports.com has to say about Flowers as a prospect:

"Good-sized defensive back with experience at multiple spots in the secondary and traits to move around. Pushing 6 feet with a near-6 1/2-foot wingspan and above average mass relative to position projection. Plays aware and active with competitive nature. Consistently willing to engage perimeter run, whether aligned at corner or safety. Physicality lives up to listed size and reflects in tackling ability...Shows recovery speed, especially when playing nickel and over the top. Top gear likely has room to improve. Around the ball a lot and playmaking production could increase. Projects as a high-major defensive back who likely fits a safety or nickel role, but also could give you snaps at corner as needed. Potential to develop into a multi-year starter with an NFL Draft upside."

USC currently has one committed player in its 2024 recruiting class in Oregon tight end Joey Olsen.
