USC Football: Trojans Bonding Off The Field By Taking In Other LA Sports
USC had national championship aspirations this year. Coming into the season as a top-ten team, the Trojans have shown that they belong in the conversation with some of the best teams in the nation.
Not only is USC trending upwards because of the talent they have, but the culture being built by Lincoln Riley is turning the team into a tight unit.
With quarterback Caleb Williams being one of the biggest leaders in the locker room, he is taking the initiative to bring his teammates out to events so that they can all bond together.
Using some of the NIL partnerships, Williams is a part of, he has been able to take his teammates to other Los Angeles-based sports for exclusive access.
When Williams had a bobblehead night at a Dodgers game this summer, he brought his offensive lineman with him to help throw out the first pitch.
"It was a really cool experience for me because a lot of them have never been to a Dodgers game, never been to a baseball game, or never on the field at a baseball game," said Williams. "All of my partnerships that I am a part of, I try to bring my teammates in anyway I can." (Via ESPN)
Now the bonds that Williams is making with his team are starting to pay off.
The quarterback is once again in the running for a Heisman trophy and the Trojans are ranked ninth in the nation.
