Your 3-0 USC Trojans men's football team are sitting pretty thus far this year, and it sounds like they're taking pains to ensure that their roster is set for many years to come, thanks to their thorough recruiting.

Jadyn Hudson, a 6'2", 175-pound rising junior safety in the Northern California burb of Pittsburg, reportedly has listed USC among his top 10 preferred landing destinations in 2025-26, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3

Michigan, Oregon, LSU, Washington, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Ohio State and Miami-Florida comprise the Trojans' competition for Hudson.

Per Donovan James of USA Today, Hudson is considered the No. 66 recruit among his high school class nationwide, the eight-ranked player in the state, and the seventh-ranked player at his position nationwide.

He serves as a defensive back, primarily as a free safety, though he's also known as a solid kick returner. On3's calculations are convinced that the Trojans have a 31% chance to land Hudson. James notes that the Trojans could benefit from a recruiting "win," having not notched any massive signings in the recent past.

The current club, led by reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams, is doing pretty well for itself in all facets right now, and the junior star's collegiate career will obviously be over by the time Hudson is (hypothetically) on the team. But adding blue chippers like Hudson is exactly how USC will be able to sustain its success.
