USC Basketball Stars Share What Positions They’d Play For Trojans Football Team
Your USC Trojans men's basketball team congregated at the LA Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, September 2nd to take in what would wind up being Caleb Williams and co.'s second straight victory, a 66-14 home drubbing of the Nevada Wolfpack.
The program's official Twitter account caught up with some of its key players, young and old (well, old for college), about where they feel they'd most thrive if they changed sports and hit the gridiron.
6'8" freshman forward Brandon Gardner, the first interview in the video, claims he'd line up at wide receiver.
"I would probably play, like, QB," freshman combo guard Bronny James smiled. "I've got a good arm, man. I can read defense and stuff. I'd probably play QB."
James' dad, 6'8", 250-pound Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron, was a wide receiver while he was in high school in Akron, Ohio. It's fascinating to hear Bronny would want to be the fulcrum of the offense in the NFL.
6'5" freshman guard Isaiah Collier, projected to be possibly a top-10 lottery pick in next year's draft (should he declare and not return to school), offered up an interesting response of his own.
"I still play football a little bit, wide receiver and safety," Collier revealed.
