USC Faces Daunting End-of-Season Gauntlet in 2023
August is here, Trojan fans, and that means college football is back. Before we know it, your USC Trojans will appear in their first game against the San Jose State Spartans at the Coliseum on August 26th.
The quest for a 2023 national championship will be worth watching, and we cannot wait until it gets started. USC will be favored in most games, especially early in the season; however, their schedule will ramp up toward the end of the season.
Their season will get progressively more challenging as we get into October, and because of this, ESPN senior writer Chris Low ranked the Trojans with the toughest close to the season.
It's always nice to have the reigning Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, and
USC
is going to need
Caleb Williams
at his best in October and November. Four of the Trojans' last six games are against preseason top-25 teams, as they face Notre Dame, Utah,
Cal
,
Washington
,
Oregon
and UCLA. Lincoln Riley's Men of Troy will also play nine straight weeks without a break to end the season.

It will be far from easy for the men of Troy. From mid-October to the end of the season, USCv will play, in order, at Norte Dame, Utah, at Washington, at Oregon, and UCLA.
Four of the five schools will be in the preseason Top 25 and will likely be ranked by the time the Trojans play them. Undoubtedly, the away games against Norte Dame, Oregon, and Washington will be their toughest games and could make or break their college football playoff hopes.
The 2023 season will come down to the final month, and I'm confident they'll be ready for the challenge and exit the Pac-12 on top.
Buckle up, Trojan fans!
