The final game of the NFL season kicks off later today, and once again, your USC Trojans will be represented in the big game. The Trojans have historically done well with representation in the Super Bowl, and that won't change this season.

The Trojans football program is one of the best over the years and consistently builds NFL talent. Through last season, USC has had at least one player play in at least 49 of the 57 Super Bowls.

"All in all, USC players have played in 49 of 57 Super Bowls. That’s a very high percentage of times in which the Men of Troy have rostered at least one player for the NFL’s ultimate showcase."

Per Matt Zemek of Trojans Wire

Once again, the Trojans will have one player on a roster in the game. That would be San Francisco 49ers quarterback Sam Darnold. While he is the backup for the 49ers, he still counts as representation for the Trojans.

The hope is that Darnold doesn't suit up in the game at all, otherwise, the 49ers may be in some trouble. But he has been serviceable when he has played this season.

Darnold has appeared in 10 games this year, mainly in garbage time. He has completed 28 of his 46 passes, throwing for 297 yards and two touchdowns.
