USC Football: Caleb Williams Does Not Intend To Sign With An Agent Ahead Of NFL Draft
Former USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams is expected to be one of, if not the first players selected in the upcoming NFL Draft. He has been projected to go first overall by many pundits, showing the want from the league for his skillset.
Williams is coming off a solid season for USC, despite the troubles that the team as a whole had. He threw for 3,633 yards with 30 touchdowns and five interceptions on the year.
It was a bit of a down year from his 2022 Heisman Trophy-winning season, but Williams was still one of the better players in the country. As he gets ready for the NFL Draft, he made it clear that he won't be hiring an agent ahead of everything.
"He is not planning to sign with an NFL agent, saying he has a "whole team" of attorneys and advisers to handle contracts and endorsements."

With Williams likely to go very high in the draft, having good representation is crucial. There has been speculation that Williams has been advised by one person, but he set the record straight before any more rumors spread.
"Everyone thinks I'm a one-man team," Williams said, referencing the symphony of work that makes an F1 team go. "That's just not the case."

It's a good thing that Williams has more than one person advising him when it comes to different situations. It can get tricky, and Williams deserves everything he can get from his play on the field.
He has the power to turn whichever franchise drafts him around, and the hype has been great to see. Williams is a star in his own right, and he will continue to be a talking point until well after the draft concludes.
