One of the most significant acquisitions in the USC offseason was wide receiver Dorian Singer, who transferred from the University of Arizona.

Singer had over 1,100 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season for an Arizona team that struggled to reach five wins. Now, Singer joins a USC program built for a deep-threat receiver with good hands.

When USC and Arizona played last year, quarterback Caleb Williams took note of Singer's abilities after the receiver's three-touchdown, 141-yard performance.

"He made a bunch of great catches, and I looked over at one of our coaches and said 'After this season, are we gonna go get him?'" Williams said at the Pac-12 Media Day last week.

The Trojans' receiver room is full of talented options for Williams, and with a revamped offensive line, USC's offense is once again set up to be one of the best in college football. Returning receivers Brenden Rice, Mario Williams, and Tahj Washington all had over 600 receiving yards last year, and the addition of Singer and freshmen Zachariah Branch and Makai Lemon will make the Trojan offense a force to be reckoned with.

Singer's transfer adds to the growing list of USC athletes who started their journeys as student-athletes at other schools. Last season, then-first-year head coach Lincoln Riley rebuilt the USC roster with 26 transfers, including Williams.

Singer will step onto the field in cardinal and gold for the first time on Aug. 26 when the Trojans face off against the San Jose State Spartans at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
