USC Football: Caleb Williams Lands Among Top 5 NIL Earners

Winning on and off the field.
In this story:

USC quarterback Caleb Williams holds many titles for his on-field prowess over the past three seasons.

The reigning Heisman winner is all but assured to be the NFL's first draft pick in 2024 despite his most recent performance against Notre Dame.

Williams' poor showing against the Fighting Irish won't help his on-field reputation, but he's sleeping just fine at night due to his NIL rankings across the NCAA.

Bronny James remains atop the list for all college athletes, but Williams' $2.7 million valuation estimates him as the fifth highest NIL earner in college athletics.

Only the aforementioned James, Shadeur Sanders of Colorado, Livvy Dunne of LSU, and Arch Manning of Texas rank ahead of Williams in this category, and it's no surprise why.

Williams' charisma and swagger were on full display during his Nissan Heisman House commercial appearance, and several other endorsement deals have made him a national superstar.

No one knows where the Men of Troy would be without the services of their great quarterback this season, as displayed by the team's recent win against Arizona.

Williams struggled with his arm, and the defense failed to contain the Wildcats over three overtimes.

It was USC's Superman who came to save the day after he rushed for three touchdowns and pulled off some magic for the Trojans' game-winning score in triple OT.

Notre Dame wasn't nearly as kind to Williams as three first-half interceptions from the normally accurate passer doomed USC to an embarrassing 28-point loss to one of their biggest rivals.

The Trojans' on-field schedule won't get any easier after Washington and Oregon showed what they're made of last week, either.

Nevertheless, Williams' off-field prowess makes him quite the commodity this season through his high NIL value.
