It looks like the newest coaching addition at USC is using his connections to create a new audience for the Trojans.

In a post on Twitter X, co-defensive coordinator Eric Henderson posted a photo with Los Angeles Rams defensive star Aaron Donald.

Henderson spent the previous five season as a defensive coach with the Rams and it appears he is trying to use his star-studded connection to entice recruits.

"I'm excited to welcome the final member of our defensive staff, Eric Henderson," said Riley. "A Super Bowl Champion coach who has been recognized nationally for being the top in his field, Eric will bring immeasurable knowledge and experience to our program. We have put together a defensive staff that is second to none. We're ready to get to work."

Donald, a 10-year NFL veteran, played collegiately at Pittsburgh and left his hometown school as one of the most decorated players in program history. The Rams drafted him at No. 13 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year has spent his entire professional career in Los Angeles and has been named a Pro Bowler every year.

Donald led all defensive tackles this season with 16 tackles for loss and had eight sacks in 16 games.

Henderson will work alongside former UCLA defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn in an effort to turn around the Trojans defense and prepare them for their first season as a Big 10 program.
