The USC Trojans are on the cusp of adding to their 2024 class. Most of the 2023 summer was filled with a ton of lows more than highs as the Trojans lost out on some top prospects.

They're hoping the tide turns, and it could start with four-star defensive lineman Jericho Johnson. Johnson is down to four teams, and your USC Trojans are in the mix.

The California native broke down his options and said he loves where the Trojans are heading under the new regime.

"I love the atmosphere and environment down in Southern California. I definitely love the vibes up there. The coaching staff is great. Coach (Shaun) Nua has really helped me open my eyes into the game of football and always encourages me to look at the bigger picture. I definitely can say I love the direction they are headed in especially because of the new level of competition they are going to face up there in the Big Ten Conference."

The 6'4 ", 300-pound lineman is ranked 109th in his class, the number 18 defensive lineman, and the 13th-ranked player in California.

The other schools in contention for Jericho are Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

He visited the campus in the spring, and it's clear that he loves what he's seen from the Trojans. |

According to Rivals' commitment forecast, USC is the favorite to land the big guy with 33%. We'll keep a close eye on where the big man will land, and hopefully, the Trojans can make it happen.
