After a disappointing 2023 season, the USC Trojans are feeling confident about themselves heading into the new year. While they have lost a lot of talent across the roster, they believe that their new coaching staff in place will help make improvements.

Lincoln Riley is still the head coach of the team and he has pressure on himself to put together a winning season. Riley has to show that this team is going in the right direction, otherwise, things could start to get ugly for him at the school.

The veteran head coach praised his team for the work being done this offseason. The staff made it a priority to have the players get bigger and Riley is proud of his guys for the work they've put in.

USC needed to add a touch of physicality on the defensive side of the field this offseason and the team believes that they've done just that. Getting some guys to add weight to their offseason workouts should help improve on that front, giving them more strength heading into the season.

New defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn was brought in to help turn the defense around after he helped USC's rival do the same. Lynn's style is straightforward and the Trojans should be better off with him in the building.

USC is looking forward to a much more successful season and it all starts with the work being put in now. The goal of winning a National Championship hasn't changed and the Trojans' journey begins soon.
