USC Football: Marshawn Lloyd Will Officially Appear at Senior Bowl
The USC Trojans season was extremely disappointing in all facets. They ended the year with a 7-5 record, which was completely underwhelming from what many were expecting from this team.
One of the bright spots from the year was transfer running back MarShawn Lloyd. He came over from South Carolina and had a very successful season in this USC offense.
He posted 820 yards on 118 touches for nine touchdowns. Lloyd also added 13 catches for 232 yards through the passing game as well.
Lloyd will be playing in the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl. He accepted the invitation to play in the game and will now get another chance to show what he can do for interested NFL teams.
The Senior Bowl is one of the more fun games throughout the entire draft process, and it's always great when a member of the Trojans participates. Lloyd has already shown that he can be an offensive weapon for USC, and the Senior Bowl will be his chance to show NFL scouts the same thing.
He was given a similar role to what he had with South Carolina and continued to prove himself. Lloyd now will prepare himself as best he can for this game since it has a lot of bearing on his draft stock.
This is a great chance for Lloyd to get his name out there a little more, which should only help him. Lloyd has NFL buzz around him and could provide some team with a nice depth piece in the backfield.
