USC Football News: Betting Odds Release Caleb Williams Over/Under Stats, Tops Nations Elite QBs

Williams is the favorite to top other QBs in QB stats

USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams is entering the 2023 season as the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. He did it all in his first season as a Trojan and set the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on fire along with the rest of the nation. 

He, alongside head coach Lincoln Riley, brought USC back to the top where they belong, and Williams could put them over the top. 

The 21-year-old QB is primed to duplicate or exceed his 2022 stats, and the people over at BetOnline.ag believe he will do so. 

BetOnline.ag released over/unders for the college quarterbacks, and Williams leads the way among the rest of the country's top QBs. 

Williams over/under opened up at 3,600.5 passing yards and 34.5 passing touchdowns for the 2023 season. 

In 2022, Williams threw for 3,712 yards and 34 touchdowns in the 12 regular season games. Overall, he threw for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns.

This is an easy 'over' that the odds makers threw out there. People will bet 'over' without hesitation, and you can't blame them. Williams will have an even better 2023 campaign; if he doesn't, the team will certainly be better this season. 

According to On3, if Williams hits these marks, he could become number five all-time in USC history in passing yards behind greats like Cody Kessler, Carson Palmer, Matt Barkley, and Heisman trophy winner Matt Leinart. 

There's no doubt he will be number five on the list; the only question is if he can surpass the four other QBs mentioned above. Williams is in a league of his own and will prove that even more this upcoming season.
