Your USC Trojans had one of the best recruiting months in the nation in the month of June. SC was able to grab over 10 highly touted recruits that will be taking their talents to the LA Memorial Coliseum.

One of the recruits they were able to retain in Los Angeles is four-star 2024 cornerback from LA powerhouse St. John Bosco HS, Marcelles Williams.

Williams committed to USC in mid-June and was able to do it in front of his friends and family. The Trojans recruited hard for his kid, and now he's returning the favor for the storied program. Williams spoke with Chris Trevino of 24Sports and said now that he's committed to Sc, he's doing his part in bringing in more talent by being a vocal recruiter for those 2024 recruits who are undecided.

"I mean, they're gonna be my people going in, all the freshmen," he said. "So, I'm just trying to build a relationship with them, try to build best class we possibly can, so we could win national championships. They all talk about bringing SC back and we can really start something special. I feel like at the end of the day, this class probably going to be top five," he added. "Top five for sure."

Williams isn't the only one doing his part. SC's 2024 cornerback Dakoda Fields, a four-star from Serra, California, is also being a vocal leader.

It's great to see the players also doing their part and striving to bring USC back to a national team that people respect and fear at the same time. Williams will play a big role in USC's path back to greatness; he's ranked 54 in the nation, seventh cornerback in the country, and number five in the state of California.

Williams will do his part in his senior season at St. John Bosco and build momentum and bring in more recruits by the time he comes to Southern California.
