USC Football News: Nations Top 2024 RB Sets Announcement Date

Longtime USC target will make his announcement later this month

The number one running back from the class of 2024 will be making his announcement real soon. 

The four-star running back from Texas, Taylor Tatum, announced he will make his decision on July 21st.

The incoming senior will be making his decision soon, and it will come down between the University of Oklahoma and your USC Trojans. 

The Texas native stands at 5'10", 200 pounds, and is the number 35 overall prospect and number one back in the country, according to On3 Industry Ranking. 

Taylor is downhill, onc-cut back with burst, and is capable of being a three-down back. He also excels in running outside concepts and runs through contact at the second level. In his junior season, he rushed for 1,840 yards, had 33 touchdowns, and rushed for 8.9 yards per carry.

One school will be filled with joy, and the other will miss out on a great back that anyone would be lucky to have. Hopefully, by late July, Tatum calls Southern California home.
