USC is getting ahead of other schools as they have already started recruiting for the class of 2026.

The Trojans offered its first in-state scholarship to high school sophomore Deshaun Redeaux, according to 247 Sports.

This is the 18th offer that the Westlake Village native has received so far. Other schools that are interested include: Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, and Louisville.

USC decided to extend its offer to Redeaux after attending the team's elite camp last month.

In his freshman year at Oaks Christian, Redeaux didn't start but was able to average 7.8 yards a carry in the 11 games he did play.

Redeaux will receive a bigger workload as he ages throughout high school.

As of right now, the Trojans only have one running back committed to the team from the 2024 class. If things remain the same, Redeaux could see playing time in his first years of college.
