Your USC Trojans usually have no problem compiling some of the best talent in the world and bringing them along for the ride for multiple seasons on end. This is no different heading into this season and even the recruiting class that will make their decisions for the 2024 season.

However, one knock on USC has always been that there are certain years where they get some of the best and biggest names at each position and still cannot go the full mile. Sometimes, this is due to factors out of their control such as injuries but other times, they simply do not play up to expectations.

Therefore, certain experts do not fully trust the vision that USC has when it comes to recruiting and in the latest rankings made by 247 Sports, they explained why USC may get beat out by other schools when it comes to 2024 recruiting.

"lINCOLN Rileycurrently has a dozen four-star commits for 2024, which is good enough for No. 7 nationally as a class and would rank fourth in the Big Ten as the league's newcomer in 2024. The Trojans have work to do behind the "Big 3" in the program's soon-to-be new league, but USC does lead all West Coast schools in recruiting. In short order, Riley has turned USC back into a national power and the Trojans should be an annual contender in the expanded Playoff next season and beyond thanks to the collection of players."
