Coming into the season, all of the hype surrounding USC's football team was around Caleb Williams' campaign after his Heisman-worthy 2022 campaign.

Only one other player has ever won two Heisman awards, Ohio State's Archie Griffin,  and he achieved the feat back in 1975!

Before the weekend, Williams was the odds-on favorite to win the award at 15/4, but then after his performance against Arizona State on Saturday, his odds slipped to 17/4, and Washington's Michael Penix Jr. took away the best odds, ironically at 15/4.

If you look at the season stats, Penix Jr. has thrown for almost 450 more yards than Williams, but it will be a week-by-week showdown between a couple of the top quarterbacks in the game.

And the team's success isn't a deciding factor because both quarterbacks have led their respective squads to a 4-0 start.

But with Williams already having a Heisman trophy, could that be a factor in giving the award to him again?

Well, the stats speak for themselves. While Penix might have more passing yards, Williams has been able to get more of his receivers involved in the action, and Williams has been able to spread the wealth around a high-powered USC offense.

Penix Jr. has been able to run that Washington offense at an extremely high level, and honestly, he's been able to do much more with a lot less in the Pacific Northwest.

It's going to be a neck-and-neck race all year to see who gets the award at the end of the day, but if either of those two superstar quarterbacks ends up winning the award in the last year of the Pac-12 as we know it, it'd be a Hollywood ending to the conference.

Who do you think should win it?
