As the USC Trojans gear up for the 2023 season, anticipation is at an all-time high as they prepare to bid farewell to the Pac-12 and make their groundbreaking move to the Big 10. Last summer's shocking announcement has left college football fans in awe, but the Trojans are determined to make the transition as smooth as possible.

From the football program to other departments in the athletic realm, everyone is on board to make this transition a resounding success. USC is leaving no stone unturned to address the technicalities that come with such a significant move. There are a ton of ins and outs to the move, and Senior Associate Athletic Director, Ed Stewart, has been leading the charge to ensure that everything falls into place.

“It’s just really the process of connecting all of those dots,” said USC senior associate athletic director Ed Stewart. “A lot of that has to do with: What are the competition models going to ultimately look like? We know what that looks like now in football. So, that box is checked. That’s the first domino to drop, if you will, and now we’re going to try and see what those actual competitive models will ultimately look like, across the board in all sports.”

Many things go on behind the scenes to make this move, like training regimes, optimizing sleep patterns, prioritizing mental health, maintaining proper nutrition, and refining travel arrangements.

All these are vital aspects to ensure the Trojans are well-prepared for their Big 10 transition.

USC is looking forward to new challenges, rivalries, and opportunities in their quest to conquer to take over the conference. The Trojans are ready to get things underway on that front, but first, they must take care of business in their last season in the Conference of Champions.
