The USC Trojans are less than 20 days from the start of their 2023 season. As they gear up for the season, the job of looking for the top recruits never stops for the Trojans.

The class of 2024 is at the top of the list, but before we know it, 2025 will be here, and USC is doing its due diligence already.

Although they have no commits just yet, they’re already making long-lasting marks on prospects they’d love to have. One of the prospects on their radar is three-star offensive lineman Jake Flores.

The Trojans have already made an offer to the young inside offensive lineman, and Flores expressed his excitement over receiving an offer from the university nearby him.

"USC is huge, I was really pumped to get the offer from them. Since I moved here about six years ago, it was clear that USC fan base [is] very passionate here in SoCal and hard not to follow what USC is doing," he told USCFootball.com. "Also, with the move to the Big Ten, it would be cool to potentially have some of my East Coast family get to see me play."

The Trojans made him an offer this past weekend, which makes it 19 offers for the incoming junior.

He is ranked as the number 25 inside offensive lineman and 57th in California.

Flores continued to have nothing but great things to say about offensive line coach John Henson and head coach Lincoln Riley.

"I talked to Coach Henson, and also hopped on FaceTime with Coach Riley, which was awesome too. Coach Henson said he like my explosiveness and game IQ a lot," he said. "As well strong O-line tradition from being developed at JSerra by Coach (Pat) Harlow and including Mason Murphy coming from JSerra too. I can’t wait to continue to build the relationship with Coach Henson and the whole USC program. It was cool to talk with Coach Riley, especially since my teammates were hanging out with me at my pool and they got to see and meet him too on FaceTime," said Flores. "Can’t wait to talk more with Coach Riley soon."

Flores should only get better, and his addition to the program would be a huge plus. We'll keep a close eye on Flores and his journey; hopefully, he keeps USC on his list as it narrows down in the coming months.
