Your USC Trojans may look a lot different as they enter Big 10 play starting in 2024, especially after former five-star recruit running back-turned-wide receiver Raleek Brown announced he will enter the NCAA's transfer portal.

Brown was among the Trojans' top recruits from the 2022 class, hailing from Santa Ana, California, and high school football powerhouse Mater Dei.

The sophomore wide receiver stands at 5'9, 165 pounds, and after an underwhelming and disappointing 2023 season, he decides to call it quits at Southern California.

After a solid 2022 campaign, where he recorded 227 rushing yards, 175 receiving yards, and six total touchdowns, it's been a whirlwind for Brown since then. He entered the 2023 season, changing positions from running back to wide receiver. Then, he didn't appear in a multitude of games this season and later decided to redshirt his sophomore season.

Raleek only appeared in two games, the season opener against San Jose State and the heartbreaking loss to the Washington Huskies. Overall, he recorded three receptions for 18 yards, three carries for 16 yards, and recorded one touchdown.

It's disheartening to see that it didn't work out with the former five-star recruit, especially after he flipped from Oklahoma University to USC after hiring head coach Lincoln Riley.

It's unknown where he will choose to go from here on out, but Brown will have four years of eligibility remaining wherever he goes.

We wish Brown the best in his next journey, and hopefully, the Trojans will find an acceptable replacement for the Orange County product.
