USC Football: Transferring Trojan Will Visit Pac-12 Rival This Weekend

The former five-star recruit is out the door.

It's officially transfer portal season, USC fans.

Players all over the country are on to the next chapter of their playing careers and are doing their best to find a new school to call home in 2024.

Luckily for the Trojans, not many players entered their name into the transfer portal - except for one: a former five-star recruit and two-year USC running back/wide receiver, Raleek Brown

USC insider from OC Register Luca Evans reported that Brown will visit Pac-12 rival, Arizona State Univeristy Sun Devils.

Evans also noted that Brown said there is no chance to return to USC, and he will be with a new school in 2024.

Brown spent the last two seasons in Cardinal Red and Gold and was heavily involved in his freshman season. In 2022, he was used as both a runner and pass catcher in 14 games. Brown recorded 227 rush yards on 42 carries for three touchdowns; as a pass catcher, he collected 16 receptions for 175 yards and three touchdowns. He got some good playing time as a true freshman; however, his sophomore season was a complete 180-degree turn.

Raleek only played in two games as a sophomore in which he ended up redshirting. The former five-star only appeared in six plays, recorded 34 yards, and scored one touchdown, which came against the Washington Huskies late in the season.

Brown was this fun and explosive guy coming from California high school powerhouse mater Dei. It's unfortunate that things never materialized for him in Southern California, and we wish him the best in his next journey.
