USC Football: Trojans Athletic Director Gives First Glimpse at New Football Facility Upgrades
USC senior associate athletic director Dave Emerick showcased an updated look at the Trojans' new football facility this week.
The Trojans announced last year that are in the process of creating a new football performance center, and now Emerick provided fans a brief look at the construction progress.
The new renovations will add a second practice field for the Trojans. Inside the performance center itself, the building will feature a new locker room, player lounges, weight room, equipment room, team auditorium, rooms for each position, and spaces for recruiting, via Grayson Schmidt of USC Today.
This new football performance center is just one of the major investments into facilities for the Trojans. In efforts to upgrade, modernize, and attract more recruits, USC has undergone several renovations to boost its athletic facilities. Outside of this football performance center, they renovated the Galen Center, are upgrading their baseball stadium and building a new stadium for women's soccer and lacrosse.
All in all, USC has put forth serious money and investments toward improving the college experience for their student-athletes. These facilities should also improve recruiting for the Trojans, who are already a top college football program.
